Have you thought about writing short stories to give people a taste of your writing until that comes out? Michael Stackpole has put together a Chain Story project for short stories to help promote new and established authors. Yep, this story takes place in Stonetree, a fictional town on the California Coast. On the windswept cliffs overlooking the city broods a massive dead oak, which is the subject of local lore and a central “player” in “The Resurrection”.
