Hey, Mom! Break out the Gratien! I’m thrilled to announce the acceptance of my short story, “When Bill Left the Porch,” for Issue Two of Relief Journal. Subtitled A Quarterly Christian Expression, Relief’s pioneer issue received rave reviews and critical praise. This is a quality mag, folks. I’m included with an outstanding group of authors and poets, people with real writing credentials. (Just reading their bios left me drooling.) Anyway, I’m seriously stoked! Issue Two will be available for purchase sometime next month, so stay tuned for details. . .

That’s AWESOME Mike!!! That is a great piece, too.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to getting my own copy!!!
Excellent Mike!! Congrats!
Hurray for you! (And me, too! Our pictures are side by side, so I guess that means we can pass notes while the teacher is talking.)
Can’t wait to read your story, Mike.
That’s great! Can’t wait to read it. Loved the first issue.
Great news, Mike! I’m looking forward to reading it.
I’m not the least bit surprized you crazy-talented dude. I’m happy-dancing in CT for you:)
Balky and I are doing the dance of joy in your honor.
Thank you all for the kind words. Jeanne, I am thrilled to be in same issue as you. I’m bringing a copy to Dallas this year, so work on refining that autograph of yours. Janet, I’ve been told I’m crazy, but not “crazy-talented.” And Heather, could you YouTube the “dance of joy” as performed by you and Balky. I should like watching that when I fall into a funk. God bless you all!
I’m not at all surprised. Warm and hearty congrats from Nashville, baby! It’s an outstanding story.
