My creative non-fiction piece “The Ark,” was selected as the Editor’s Choice winner for Relief 2.3. Can you dig it? You can read more about the great line-up of authors for that issue HERE, as well as pre-order your own copy and check out the cover art. Relief Journal is a quality mag and I’m thrilled about being included in this issue. If you haven’t already, please take this opportunity to purchase one of the best Christian journals on the market.

That’s awesome, Mike! Congratulations! 🙂
Good Job Dad! And Mom says your not working.
Well, when I sit on my ass for hours at end staring at a computer screen, occasionally shuffling out to go pee and scrounge in the fridge, before finally plopping in bed only to arise and do it again… well, she may have a point.
“Christian journal.” Is this where I should say something snarky about journals not being able to become Christians and how the church is ghettoizing itself out of commission? 😉
Seriously, though, Mike, congrats for such prestigious recognition.
Back to the ghetto, though, you might find Sigmund Brouwer’s latest release, Broken Angel, interesting. In his distopian future, a part of the US has been sectioned off and a theocracy is in place, where reading is banned, especially reading the Bible. So far, it doesn’t seem that this theocracy is the point of the story but it sure creates an intersting setting.
